Repsol YPF eligió a la división Controltek de Softron para el desarrollo de su sistema de telemetría de tanques de GLP. Este sistema permitirá recolectar en forma inalámbrica datos de centenares de tanques dispersos en Argentina, Ecuador y Peru y será utilizado tanto por personal de Repsol YPF como por los clientes de la empresa.

La experiencia de la division Controltek en el desarrollo e implementación de soluciones de telemetría fue uno de los factores clave en la elección.

 

Controltek at BIEL

Controltek participated at BIEL 2009 show (Bienal Internacional de la Industria Eléctrica, Electrónica y Luminotécnica), from 3 to7 November 2009 at the Predio Ferial La Rural de Palermo.

At our stand we made a live demonstration of our Quality of Electric Service online monitoring service.

Fedecoba event

With the assistance of over 40 representatives from cooperatives of the Buenos Aires province, was carried out on 09/25/2009 the Technical Meeting of Fedecoba, at the city of Ramallo. Controltek presented its service of Electricity Service Online Monitoring.

Quality of Service 2.0

Let us imagine a loaded truck leaving the ice cream plant. On arriving at its destiny, the client’s warehouse, the merchandise is unloaded; the client’s inspector reads the thermograph record and states: "- This freight has lost the refrigeration chain. I cannot accept it." – and the driver asks himself what could have happened. In fact, thanks to an instrument that records continuously the temperature within the truck or the warehouse, it is possible to determine whether the refrigeration chain has been kept. However, this control does not prevent the rejection of the whole freight, with its implied cost. One thing is the recording of the information and another very different one is at what precise moment one can get hold of that information.

2 years of SMED System

On September 2009 two years have elapsed since the start of the SMED system, hired by CAMMESA that permanently measures the electricity demand of the larger consumers in Argentina. Softron is responsible for the provision and operation of that system at five provinces. Read here our success story.
